KWO is delighted to have won another gold award at the regional heats of the BASBWE National Concert Band Festival in Colchester on Sunday 27 November 2005.

The orchestra received high praise from the judges for their beautiful rendition of Dreamscapes by Martin Ellerby. Adjudicator Colin Touchin described the bands playing as 'tremendous' and added that 'the whole band played beautifully'. Winning a gold at the regional stage means KWO will be competing in the national finals in Glasgow on 9 April 2006.
